Roar in Store

Apple are set to release their latest version of OS X today, 10.7 Lion. As now customary when Apple releases a new product the online Apple Store simply displays a message informing that updates are being made and will be back up and running soon. Along with the new operating system it is also thought that details of the new MacBook Airs will be released. It had been rumoured that they have been held back until the release of Lion.

July Fools Day!

Many Americans will be celebrating Independance day today (July 4th). However, several of these patriots may have got a shock early this morning when they read that President Obama had been assasinated as a result of two gunshot wounds sustained whilst campaigning in Iowa. The news was tweeted, and at time of writing this, still appears on Fox News' Twitter feed.

The bogus tweets were a result of the Twitter account credentials being compromised. It's not been discovered who carried out the hack although a previous attack on the Fox Entertainment Group website was carried out by Lulz Security earlier this year.
